Drop Those Weight

Eliminating the dead and dry skin cells that have accumulated on the skin surface is one of the ideal ways to fight facial wrinkles. Skin exfoliation is one of the ideal and efficient ways to get rid of dead and dry skin cells. Without exfoliation, your facial wrinkle products may not work efficiently. Cleansing the skin with a gentle scrub twice a week at least is recommended to prevent or slow down those tiny lines.

Don't Rinse with Hot Water

Hot water can dehydrate your skin faster, and make wrinkles appear even much faster. Hot water will also wash away those protective skin cells leaving it itchy and dry. Lukewarm or lower temperature water will protect the outermost layer of the skin.

Add More Color to Your Diet

Adding more colorful fruits and veggies to your diet can help in fighting wrinkles. These are natural sources of antioxidants that can fight free radicals causing damages to your skin cells. You should also consider healthy fats such as Omega3 and omega 6 fatty acids found in nuts, avocados, and eggs.

You should also consider drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day to keep the body hydrated and help your skin stay healthy. An occasional red wine may also help your skin because it is packed with polyphenols and antioxidants needed for replenishing your skin.

Let Your Body Heal Itself with Plenty of Sleep

Your body is known to heal itself much better and faster at night especially in the state of rest where it is free from environmental pollutants like air, and the rays of the sun. Having a minimum of 7-8 hours of sleep a day can help your skin heal naturally. You may also apply anti-aging nutrients like retinol and fruit acid in the night, just before going to bed.

Go Easy on Your Eyes

That delicate skin around your eye can be more susceptible to wrinkles but you can apply overnight creams that are gentle on the skin around your eye. These gentle eye creams also contain anti-aging products including retinol and peptides, alongside hydrating substances like hyaluronic acid that will plump up the wrinkles and lines.

Use Protection at All Times

Sunscreens are not just for the beach; they are for everyday protection. Short and long trips under the sun can lead to wrinkles and uneven pigmentation. Application of a sunscreen with SPF 15 daily can help protect your face from wrinkles and fine lines.
