Though reducing turkey neck is one of the hardest things to fix in the body, medical research and development have provided various non-surgical approaches to dealing with it, and Harley Institute professionals have elaborated most of them in this article.

First off, consider changing your lifestyle.

Leading a poor lifestyle, obesity and cardiovascular conditions are things that increase your chances of developing a fat neck. Therefore, before any approach can be effective, you need to make changes to your lifestyle.

What do you consume and how many times do you eat per day?

Do you sleep for long hours?

Lifestyle changes are the first step to losing that neck fat, and this also implies to surgical procedures. So, you need to reduce your intake of carbohydrates and also read some of Harley Institute articles on weight loss.

Managing your diet by reducing calorie intake and eating dairy foods, whole grains, lean meat, vegetables, and fruits will help you a whole lot. You need to control the urge to always to carbonated sweet drinks and reduce the portion of the food you take per time.

Hit the gym!

Reduction of fat at sensitive parts of the body like the neck is always a hard nut to crack, so you need to consider losing weight throughout the body and focusing on the neck region. You need to hit the gym and do exercises that will affect the muscles of your neck. Such exercises should not be intensive at the beginning, but as time goes on, you should increase the intensity.

While you hit the gym, do not forget to maintain a healthy lifestyle or it will turn into an exercise in frugality.

Do frequent neck exercise.

Some neck exercises can be effective in reducing neck fat and you can do that at home or in the gym. These exercises involve stretching and flexing the muscles in the neck region.

The yoga-type neck exercises:

The neck exercises are more effective when done in the morning. It involves sitting or standing upright. Then you need to slant your neck back to look at the ceiling and stay for about 3-5 minutes. Do same bending your neck to the left and right. The entire exercise can take or to 15 to twenty minutes but it's worthwhile.

Lastly, go for fat freezing treatments.

There are fat freezing noninvasive treatments that are FDA approved for reducing abnormal fat in the neck. However, these treatments must be prescribed by a physician who must have conducted some test to determine whether they are appropriate for you.

The first one is called Kybella; it is a deoxycholic acid injection procedure that has been approved by the FDA. This injection destroys the fat cells under the chin. This treatment has been proven to be effective but it lasts for months, and you should get ready to endure multiple injections. You may call professionals from Harley Institute for further recommendations.
