Moisturizing is the KING!

Your goal should be to look younger by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, sagging, dark spot, fine lines and other visible signs of aging through the consistent use of moisturizers. We are not recommending the ordinary moisturizers but those with anti-aging properties.

With the right application of moisturizers, you could reduce the look of up to 10 years of wrinkles. Try taking the following steps.

  • During the weekends and days you're at home, apply the moisturizers every two hours
  • On working days, cleanse your face and apply anti-aging moisturizers immediately you get home
  • After taking your bath and before going to bed, apply another layer.

Your skin will get the perfect amount of moisture in addition to other visible results when you regularly take the above steps.

Reduce inflammation naturally

Immune system cells are solely responsible for increased inflammation which can cause numerous health deficiencies including visible signs of aging, skin sagging and stress. The solution to inflammation is partly in the medicine cabinet but more in making smart lifestyle changes.

  • Increase your consumption of fruits, vegetables, and foods containing Omega-3 fatty acids like soybeans, salmon and cold water fish.
  • Add these to your diet daily: celery, blueberries, garlic, grapes, and some spices.
  • Eliminate inflammatory causing foods from your diet like processed foods, red meat, margarine, and trans-fats.

These steps might be hard initially, but consistent practice will produce dependable results.

Protect your skin against sun damage

There are long term consequences of unprotected exposure of your skin in the sun because UV rays from the sun cause redness and burnt skin. In severe cases, it makes your skin look dull, dry and uneven.

To protect your skin from the UV rays of the sun, you need to wear a Sun Protective Factor (SPF). It helps protect your skin against any sun damage. Your skin will be noticeably radiant with improved elasticity when you get it protected from the sun.

Use a humidifier at bedtime

Use a humidifier to restore moisture into your bedroom and wake up in the morning with younger looking skin. With a humidifier, you will eliminate dry air in your bedroom.

You don't need to break the bank for that, buy a small bedside humidifier and wake up every morning with a plumb, and more hydrated looking skin.

Increase water intake

This is a popular tip which is repeated by every expert. However, we are not from the school of thought that will advise you to repeatedly drink eight glasses a day.

Rather, we recommended an increase in water intake because, from experience, we know that it works. If you're consistent in taken more water, you will experience noticeable results which will make your skin smoother and more toned.

Lastly, we will advise you not to forget your neck while moisturizing or using any beauty product. The neck is probably one of the places that show signs of aging. Follow up on all the six tips we have shared in this article and feel free to call experts at Harley Institute if you need further assistance.
